Entry for March 06, 2007
I haven't had time to write about all the things that the boys have learned to do during our trip.
Everybody believes that our boys are smart and has been trying to teach them different things. I believe that River is as smart as Relic but he often doesn't care to obey when we ask him to show the things that he knows. Relic is not like him this way. He does care about how people think of him and responds to everything that we ask him. But I believe both of them are sweet in their own way.
The boys both knew how to clap and how to move their heads and how to pretend being kittens before our trip. But now, they have learned much more. ( Thanks to my sister and her family who have been really kind and patient with my babies )
Relic makes clock sound :TIK TIK and can find the clocks on the wall where ever we go. He also points at lamps and says BAA which is a baby version of BARGH and means electricity in Farsi. They both have their little arms up, looking at ceiling when we ask them to thank God.Relic moves his little body front and back when we sing for him DADOO DADOO. It was what my niece used to do when she was a baby and my sister liked my sons to do that too.
They both call everything that they eat NAM NAM which is a word that Relic created when I feed them. They both love to flip over and do it if we help them. ( Relic has done it once by himself ). They both have started to walk a few steps. Relic loves to stand up and does it sometimes and River loves to walk around the house if he has one of his hands on the wall.
They are growing up faster than I could imagine and I do feel lucky to be their mother.

Hello Bita, you don't know me, but I know Charlie, what nice TWINS..my Mom has a Twinsister and still very close and 87 Y old..Gr..Grace from Holland
ReplyDeleteHi Bita, I am another visitor from Charlie's page. He posted such a nice entry (and photo) of your beautiful twins and their uncle with his kamancheh, I couldn't resist a virtual visit to your family. I'm an amateur (Gaelic music) musician and found the sound clips fascinating. The music has that same haunting, ethereal quality that draws me to traditional Irish airs and Scottish pipe pibroch. So expressive of the unique soul at the heart of these cultures. Anyway, it was very pleasant reading about your lovely family. Twins run in my family as well - my mother is one!
