I am getting tired more and more every day. The only thing that can help me to not give up is the love that I have for my babies. They are getting more beautiful every day but the thing that keeps me to stay loving them is not their beauty. They have all of my heart by the look in their eyes ( which I still know their color ).
I go to sleep by hearing their swings moving, I run by their cry and I live by their smile. They are whole my life. I have never ever loved anybody like that. I feel they are the most beautiful things on the earth, and I feel very proud to be their mother, even if I am really exhausted.
I am worried about you, Bita. Are you getting enough sleep? Being exhausted is a symptom of depression, also. I don't mean depression as a mood you are in, but as a clinical condition of the brain. It is very serious and can shorten your life. Please make sure your doctor knows about how exhausted you are. And I wish with all my heart that I could do something practical to help. :(
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear that you are sooo tired Bita..... it is hard enough to raise one beautiful baby let alone 2 at the same time. It is nice to see that you are trying ur best and that your love is still strong for your little ones as they should be always but remember what my mother once told me "The Best Gift a Parent can give their Child is to take care of themselves 1st and to love themselves 1st then they will have the energy to care for their little ones too. I hope u stay healthy and i am thinking of you always .

Hi Bita. I'm new to 360 and just happened upon Charlie's space (loved it), and Charlie told me about you. I also have twins -- though mine have just turned 14.
ReplyDeleteI remember, too, being very tired in the beginning. There were days I had to wonder if I had it in me to do what needed done.
All I can offer you is the testimonial that your hardships WILL ease... and it is all SO worth the joy you'll experience while raising your little darlings!
But it IS important that you find rest when you can. Sleep while they sleep. Allow a trusted friend or relative to keep an eye on the boys while you step outside or away from your home -- for just an hour even!
I sincerely hope you have a little help... and get rested. It really is important that YOU stay physically and emotionally healthy. I wish you WELL!!!
