Learning and Growing up, June 23, 2007

River and Relic have been learning a lot of things in the last few days. After they came out of the fever which made them be a little spoiled , they started to move around and explore ....

A few days ago when Michael and I had taken the boys to a park near the house, River started fighting with a big boy ( he was only 4-5, but enough big for River ) to get his ball back and he won ! It was really cute to see how he was trying to take care of his property for the first time

I have been letting the boys move inside my car to discover how things work ( Oh, no ! I haven't let them drive yet ) and they have been having a lot of fun there. It is so cute to see how they start the windshield wipers or turn the radio on and dance with a song that they found on the radio themselves, in the car .

But what really shocked me yesterday was seeing River working on my computer's mouse, clicking and enjoying how it worked. He was grinning when he was opening a new window . I think it is a really bog thing for a 14 month old baby to discover how a mouse can be connected to a screen and how to work with it. Of course he doesn't know the keys yet, but I bet he will find them out soon.

After the boys moved out from our bedroom when they were 4 months old, they have been sleeping in the same crib. But they have been big and it is not very comfortable for them to sleep in a crib together. That's why we decided to have them sleep in separate beds. Tonight is the first night for them to sleep in different beds. I know it will be a little hard for them emotionally but they will be able to move around more easily and it will help them sleep better ( or at least, that's what I hope )

Yes, my babies are very hard to be taken care of , but just seeing their eyes sparkling when they discover a new thing is worth all the trouble. I am really proud of my sons
